Jigsaw (2002) Movie Review

Synopsis 

Art Students dismember and re-assemble an odd mannequin. But after they burn it during a drunken confessional, it comes back to prey on their fears.

My Review 

Well have to say start of film was kind of odd though the plot of movie sounds that way as well chessy as well for a 2002 movie but let’s see what I think. 

After that strange open we see students being too what there last Assignment will re- assemble a mannequin and then burn ok then first 19 mins not much horror and no mannequin it is just them hanging out with the Professor drinking beer the mannequin name is jigsaw not the one from saw movies by the way nice name by the way. 

So pretty much first 30 mins is them drinking and Jigsaw sitting there I guess stuff they give it is there past not sure but again plot is a little bit odd so far 30 mins in the girl in cowgirl hat is dancing after that we see them burn Jigsaw the mannequin doesn’t look like they burn all of him because at bar the tv switch to them out in the woods so The bartender can see everything the girl did strip down some and bartender got And I like a little pervert nothing happens after that jigsaw who was burn seem like it didn’t effect him much he ends up killing the girl who was strip boyfriend so there your first kill took 51 mins though mannequin is killing them for there fears sounds interesting but this sort of reminds me of hobogoblins though pretty much kills count start to go up as this dummy goes around killing and collect body parts very gory and bloody ways later on the Professor knocks out the girl and that how she got tied up at start of movie I guess he was crazy the whole time now he helping him finish but he didn’t go after her he went after professor chop his head and that where they end it what a dumb movie. 

Bad acting not a good plot gory and bloody though and that ending was just as bad as Curse of the puppet master which full moon made this was by them as well guess they don’t have enough money to finish this one either just leave us with nothing no reason at all just a chessy movie from full moon is all I got left to say.

Medusa (2021) Movie review

My Review

Most of time not into much horror movies here in future most of them not good but plot of movie sounds interesting so let’s see if this one is chessy or not.

Well have to say this one pretty weird movie as it starts off with ugly snake woman or something she eats her lover I guess weird start after that next 20 mins nothing too much but at 20 min mark she gets bite by a snake after that she starts showing signs of change interesting what she become some and little bit boring it is slow build needs to be a little bit faster but ok I guess as you get near the end starts to get good as she starts tear off her skin look and she becomes snake woman look like and she Jimmy and then she went back to human form will say the last 10 mins wasn’t much of a big ending but her started to turn into Medusa but only snakes out of her head no change just that could of ended it with her true form nope as it rolls to the credits.

Will say not a bad horror movie again not a good ended there guess it was low Budget film or something and writing was confusing a little bit if they would of had her turn someone into stone then dust at end there would of been cool to me also acting was chessy and not the best if your looking for something scary for Medusa times that this movie is probably not for you but will say check it out if you like it I did not like it that chessy ended can of ruin it some is all I got left to say.

I give Medusa (2021) a rating of 5/10

The Girl that lives down the lane (1976) movie Review

My Review

This one movie I never thought I see in Jodie Foster In horror movie well I see how it goes she might be good she is great at movies for acting.

Movie starts off with her walking on beach and coming home it is her birthday she about to eat the cake then Martin Sheen shows up and his character is a little odd because he ask questions about her where her father and he very into this house like he wants to know what going on in here this should be a interesting character for him I see many of his movies and he too is great at acting but find his character interesting too.

This girl is indeed hiding something she said she lives with her father but I see no father figure within the movie too me I think he is dead and she not telling and there other later on city later goes to Celler or old basement area and see something scare her door hits her in the head and there she dies what did she down there that scared her something did they did not show yet something they are probably saving for the end hope it is a scary secret and not some lame thing as movie goes on people get Suspicious on her living her by herself and no father in sight later on woman who was killed son shows up Martin sheen character by the way shows up asking questions like a crazy guy he wonder what she up too a lot the boy who was her guest kicked him out least someone stick up her then he her and her go down to celler they made it can of creepy with the music but again did not show anything.

I be again to wonder is her father dead body there or something more worst then that well there wasn’t much build up much which they should of done because if not means they won’t tell us too much is what I thinking but they had to do too me this look like a friendship movie between Mario yes his name is Mario.

Later on the police guy returns then later on her father shows up but Mario was dress up as her father very creepy then it turn into love story but the boy is cough a lot he was lucky he could of die the policeman said so she goes visit him in hospital and tell him she loves him then comes home and goes to bed but hears door slam it is creepy Frank that shows up they have tea and cookies that poison him and boom the movie ended what a odd movie.

Ok acting was good but plot boring some this felt like a TV movie with 1 gore and some blood And little bit of nudity and the ending was little poor my guess low Budget movie where the heck was her father the whole time the writing seem a little lost her because this indeed not horror too much just a normal story on girl living on her well own is from what I see this was more drama as well will say Jodie again did a great job in this is the only sliver light of this movie otherwise did not like it much probably would not watch again but again acting is good will keep it from a poor rating.

Edge of the Axe (1988) movie review

My Review

Movie starts off with woman in car wash getting it washed then someone with a mask on kills her there was some blood so gory start which I hope makes this a great horror movie as well then we go with a guy riding into town with bike at first then after that a lady finds a Disturbing pig head on the bed somebody sent her a message that is for sure will say the guy with dark hair look like Jim carry not going to lie there but he not Jim so the 3 guys go to a building look up and boom a dead body comes out scare them nice jump scare there the two guys are computers nerds back then not much internet though so the guy ends up giving the girl a computer how nice yeah and after that a girl gets a phone call and goes by herself in the middle of no where then gets killed by killer Rita was dumb to go out by herself when killings been reported so she ends up getting very bloody so 3 kills first 34 mins with a axe but later on there a small hint on who killer is with the way guy holds the axe is the way killer does but not sure they may turn out not too be whoever it is sure is going after everybody later on girl look up Crime records and Gerald name was on there and has a history of crimes well who ever it is indeed from this town the computer voice sounds good with the way they type stuff like a robot voice something a killer could use as well in my view could be girl cousin too she was drop hints on his past that is a mental issue so her cousin maybe the one but I also notice the killer has not gone after the girl yet so think it a good chance it is Gerald maybe he is her cousin and change his name that would be sick twist but for a horror movie never know with writers would they go that far is question though.

As you get near the hints are drop hints on who it was Gerald or not when she starts send him messages on computer and does not Answer pretty much it was him I was right I know because his eyes was dark as killer eyes as well he was indeed nuts all names he killed show up on computer as he blame it on her he was crazy but why would he kill them for her very odd and in the end he gets shot and they leave you something odd so was it her the whole time or not sure that one twist to end the movie.

As for movie was good horror movie lots of gore and blood for a horror movie not bad acting and writing this reminds of movies I review in the past as well with the while and score of music was good as well that twist at the end was good making you think it not over yet so would I watch this again maybe not too sure but will say this is a good horror movie.

Mortuary (1983) Movie Review

My Review

This week hopefully good Horror movie review is called Mortuary from 1983 when I was a kid wow that a while ago.

The movie does start off in a creepy with her dad being hit by a bat twice and then falling in pool drowning and then daughter Freaks out creepy way to start the movie then we see 2 guys spy on women were witches maybe and one of them is girl mom 1 of guy was stab by a creepy person in a dark black suit he may of been dead too not sure when of guy gets trapped in room but not too long he gets out and think his friend he did not know he was killed pretty much I think this movie will be about Reaper guy look like alike going around killing people he almost got Christie and her lover but her parents coming out to save her just in time the father is same guy who played Mr. Kimberly on Green aces or yeah indeed know who he was by the way it was boyfriend father he was playing anyway nice see him again even if it a small role maybe.

Also Christie is played by Mary Beth Donough from the Walton’s series by the way very odd see her in a horror movie she is very good at acting though from what I see.

Pretty much the plot is her trying to figure out how her dad drowning or what happen so you got that and creepy guy in suit going around killing people also have a very young Bill Paxton working on dead body’s can of creepy as well he in love with Christie though the movie can of odd interesting character for him in this one.

Later on lights go on and off many times my guess they house is indeed haunted by the way when two are well doing it mr creepy guy in black suit show up and pecks at them she stop him and dump her boyfriend see that before then her mom comes home then later on we find out who the creepy is Paul The whole figure he was acting for in odd and guy who played Paul is again Bill Paxton what a weird character but indeed scary one he was know to play character but never see him play a killer in horror movie so later he kills the mom which takes away that she kill her husband even if she was part of witch group my guess then shift him killing her dad with the bat and then he Drowned.

Pretty much creepy Paul caught Her so what he going to do with her well we find out what creepy Paul was up too he indeed went crazy murder everyone and last 5-10 mins talking to dead and he wants to marry Christie I was wonder where Greg was at he was locked in room but then later Greg shows up so it’s Paul vs Greg here in last few moments not much time it wasn’t much the ending I can Predicted it ended with Paul getting killed and then his mom got up and went after and boom the movie ending not best ending I see for this one.

The only thing scary about this was Bill Paxton role as guy who is crazy kills people then we figure out at the end there what his plans was not bad acting bye Bill a role I never see him in before to tell you the truth so guess it was Paul who killed her father at the start this movie wasn’t worst I see will say it was good some nudity in movie creepy as well but they did not say if house was haunted maybe that was Paul playing with lights possible would I watch this again least say a maybe now below see my finale rating for movie.
