Synopsis

When five shipwrecked teenagers visit an island hotel, they are haunted by the ghosts of 1960 New year’s Eve party , who have twisted plans.

My Review

Next review this week is bloody new years from 1987 did I think it was bloody or not find out what I think below.

Opening was film in black and white it was a New Year’s party look like everyone was having fun then we see a woman ok a ride getting pick on then turn into fight while ride going on can of odd so far 10 mins and not much horror yet but that just kidding five teenagers get on a boat but there boat goes down so they swim to island where a hotel which look likes no one been there for a while but a creepy face keeps pop up on window’s probably a ghost.

I think this was film in British because actors in this movie sound that way so this might be a British horror if I see horror 23 mins in not see much Horror.

Creepy things start to happen at house like it possessed with ghosts also this has tv movie vibes not sure if it was feel like it though. Whole a movie some ghost look like jump out of movie and kills a guy so started to get a little scary now but lots of jump scares though something is after them or playing games everywhere they go scary surprises wait around the corner the woman with ugly face her turning the guy head was creepy and scary will say but it not bloody scary .

The final 15 mins was scary plates flying around broken and then plates start put them self back together pretty much they tell us why this going on they are for some trap in time here it lucky after crazy stuff going on they got out of house but can they get off this island now is the question it ended with both of being trapped there almost got out but ended in a twist there not a bloody movie.

This was not as title said but it did have a few scary moments not a whole lot again I think this a tv movie because it water down a lot as well so yeah in the end did I like it sort of story was not good write because still had lots of questions on what heck going on did not get so do I say in the end is this must see or not will say yes and a No.

I give bloody new year a rating of 6/10
