Synopsis

My Review

Have not see Phantasm movies too much think I only see 1 and never got into them not too much but will be looking and reviewing all 5 of series started off with 1979 movie so here is my review of 1979 movie called Phantom.

Movie starts off with creepy movie intro that for sure and very dark house and opening is sex and nudity but that no woman see the face of tall man quick shot though and then goes to a guy visiting a place where dead people lay to rest then it goes to graveyard where a kid is riding a around something going to happen as this great graveyard then after that funeral started for Tommy the guy killed early probably the tall man killed then kid goes too see someone who can see the future the old lady was creepy and girl pretty but also creepy when he left they started laughing oh by the way kid name is Mike and I think he have a big part of series as well.

Mike brother for some reason goes with girlfriend to graveyard why would you take her there to hang out is something I would not go I think that same woman who turn into tall man and kill Tommy then they start kissing good that Mike scream there and saved his brother from being killed then brother goes back and woman so indeed tall man being a hot woman can of creepy the tall man is but soundtrack fits in so well every time he comes around gets creepy something indeed happen at the graveyard things started happen to Mike and no one believes him just yet so young Mike goes to graveyard to find out would not go alone if I was him this is one creepy graveyard and then he see the house my guess this tall man house here after getting in again music gets more and more creepy just love the music of this movie in dark times of film so good.

Then some ball with something knife type weapon goes flying and kills a guy started to get a little scary then for first time Mike meets tall man and cuts his fingers off and yellow blood comes out not red so tall man indeed not normal he keeps the bloody finger for proof and his brother does believe but the finger turns into a huge bug or a fly it was ugly one as well.

So far a hour it is pretty creepy movie that for sure tall man is indeed scary ghost or whatever is his indeed a scary character the one who playing him is doing one heck of a job. Seems like tall man is collect body’s but for what not sure I am sure they are saving that for the end hopefully would be pointless just have him collect the body’s of dead people and do nothing at 1:05 Mike gets kidnapped and then car burns but don’t think tall man dead you can throw anything at him and he keeps coming back turns out tall man is using body’s to make slaves to take over the world something guess it up to gang to stop him before he succeeds with his plan not sure how they will stop him but cannot wait to find out and will say tall man as woman is creepy and can of hot face of woman almost look like evil tall man when they zoom in on her face wow the tall man feeds on fear Mike don’t fear or else he wins .

Why heck does tall man go back to being a woman more mind games I guess he like going to woman form a lot so in end they beat the tall man for now then he woke up so was this Mike dream the whole time Jody is dead now there a man at end saying he will take of you this probably tall man playing with Mike as form as Mike friend the ending was just as thought it will be leading up too part 2 was indeed not a dream.

Well first phantasm was great the music was main of movie being good love story as well good acting was good tall man was indeed scary great effects just a very good movie hopefully part 2 does good see what I think of that coming up in next hour for now a good start to series.
